Make a Donation to Barton Foundation

Take a look at our most recent edition of Heartbeat, Barton Foundation's biannual newsletter.

Giving to Barton Health is evident in many areas, such as:

  • Volunteering of time and talents - Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of areas, from being a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, being on the Hospital Board, working with the Barton Hospital Foundation or being a Junior Volunteer.
  • Fundraising through Special Programs, Campaigns and Events.
  • Making Donations – Donations may be made to the Barton Foundation. Donations may be made to a specific area of service or for a specific purpose. Donations can also be made to Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
  • Association Membership – Anyone donating $1,000 for an Association Membership is entitled to one vote in hospital elections and is eligible to serve on the Hospital Board of Directors. Membership requires residency in either El Dorado County or Douglas County during the past 2 years. Association Memberships may be purchased through the Barton Hospital Foundation, or through Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
  • For detailed information about the volunteering opportunities, check out the menu on the left.

RECOGNITION
The Heritage Wall was beautifully and uniquely designed for our hospital to honor and acknowledge donors who have achieved a cumulative giving amount of $2,500 or more. Personal name plates are updated annually to reflect your continued support. Additionally, those who give annually, no matter what total giving amount is attained or size of gift is made, are also recognized on the Heritage Wall in a beautiful digital print. We appreciate our donors and are proud to display your name on the Heritage Wall for all to see.
